Best Yoga Teachers Quotes – (Slideshow)

This being Sunday and all, and especially as it’s also Mother’s Day, I thought I’d try to do something a little bit different. I thought I’d do a slideshow, highlighting some of the best yoga teachers and some quotations attributed to them. Now admittedly, these are my five for right now, but there are so many more. I thought that it might be interesting to get some feedback from those of you with a different opinion as to who you think is one of the five best (and why). This is my first attempt at a slideshow, so if it isn’t perfect, well, I’ll do better next time. You can also consider it a lesson in patience.

"When we get out of alignment with Spirit and we try to make or expect life to be something different than it really is, suffering happens. We all experience pain and suffering, but it is not the quintessential nature of life. Just because the earth turns away from the sun and night occurs doesn't mean that the sun isn't always shining. It might be hard to see sometimes, but goodness and divine beauty can always be found if you adjust your vision just right." Parivrtta Ardha Chandrasana pose.
